Dieser Ionensprühstab wirkt äußerst effektiv in einem weiten Bereich. Er eignet sich deshalb hervorragend zum Neutralisieren statischer Elektrizität auf solchen Materialien, zu denen die Distanz regelmäßig variieren kann. Bei optimalen Bedingungen kann die Entfernung sogar 600 mm betragen. Dieser Stabtyp ist von der Konstruktion her derart steif, daß er sogar bei extremer Länge nur minimal durchbiegt.
